The Bear Lake Valley provides endless opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Whether you want to go for an hour or make a day of it – here are some great options for the whole family.

Hiking

There are several picturesque trails to explore in the Bear Lake Valley. From the easy Limber Pine Trail to the challenging Steam Mill Hollow Trail. Click here for the details of the five best hikes close to Bear Lake Timeshare. If you'd like more information, stop at the Bear Lake Overlook Visitor Center as you head up Logan Canyon. The center offers a great view of the lake, restrooms and helpful staff who can share maps and tips. 

Four Wheeling / ATV Or Dirt Bikes

The Bear Lake Valley has hundreds of miles of four wheeling, ATV and dirt bike trails winding through our beautiful mountains in Utah and Idaho. Click here to access the Utah State Parks' interactive trail maps and safety tips. 

Bear Lake Golf Course on Sweetwater Hill

Try out the nearby 9 hole mountain course located above Bear Lake between Garden City and Fish Haven. Bear Lake West has rental clubs, carts, pull carts and everything else you need including a fully stocked pro-shop. Click here for information about rates and passes.

Renegade Raceway Go-Karts

If your looking for something fun and exciting to do in Bear Lake, head down to Renegade Raceway for a great go-karting experience and fun for all ages! Click here to go to their Facebook page.

Pickleville Playhouse

Since their first production in 1977, Pickleville has been known for its unforgettable brand of family fun and entertainment. The tradition continues this summer as they bring you two exciting productions. A hilarious T.J. Davis original: Who Shot Juanito Bandito, and Disney's Broadway Adventure: Tarzan. Bloomington Lake

Bloomington Lake is located up Bloomington Canyon, from Bloomington, Idaho off of US 89. It is 12 miles up to a 9,000 foot elevation lake with some of Idaho’s most beautiful scenery. Swimming in this small glacier lake is great. The canyon road is mostly dirt but passable by car. (Summer season only). Click here for more information.

Minnetonka Cave

Minnetonka Cave is located up St. Charles Canyon, St. Charles, Idaho off US 89, is a 10 mile (paved) road. There are guided tours of this 9 room cave full of stalactites and stalagmites. The tour is about 90 minutes – bring a jacket as the cave is 40 degrees year-round. Well worth the trip. Reservations are encouraged for large groups. Click here for more information.
